GNK Group of Institutions Yamunanagar is a government aided college established in 1968 under the leadership of S. Bhupinder Singh Jauhar, a respected philanthropist. There are five colleges under its umbrella. Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Guru Nanak Khalsa Institute of Technology and Management - Technical Campus, Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, School of Employability, Guru Nanak Khalsa Community College and Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Education are constituent colleges of GNK Group of Institutions. The college has a faculty strength of 150. It offers 15 courses at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. BCom, BBA, BSc, BCA, MBA, MPharm etc. are some of the courses offered by the institute in full-time mode. 

Admission in courses offered by GNK Group of Institutions Yamunanagar is offered on merit basis. Class 12 score is considered for UG admission and graudation score is taken into consideration for PG admission. The institute offers various state and national level scholarships to students. For placements, a dedicated placement cell is there at GNK Group of Institutions. Every year companies such as Wipro, Genpact, HDFC Bank, Infosys etc. hire students and offer them handsome packages. In 2023, the highest package offered to MBA students was Rs 6,56,000 per annum. GNK Group of Institutions campus has modern facilities and infrastructure consisting of a cafeteria, spacious classrooms, auditoriums, laboratories, boys and girls hostel etc. for the convenience of students.
